OPNW Tasting Project™
The OPNW Tasting Project™ is a way for everyday wine drinkers to participate in rating Oregon Pinot noir wines and to have a fun event with friends at the same time. You hold the tasting parties, we accumulate the results from you and other project participants and then integrate the results into a rating resource on this website side-by-side with the professional ratings.
It works like this:
(1) First read the blind Tasting Guide and download the Tasting Score Sheet.
(2) Determine what type of blind tasting party you want to host. The Tasting Guide describes different tasting themes. The search function on this website gives you a tool to generate lists of wines for different types of tastings.
(3) Select the wines and invite your guests (5 to 6 bottles for 8 to 12 tasters is a good guide).
(4) Taste the wines, tally the votes and submit the results using the online form on this page.
Your tasting results will be added to the OPNW Tasting Project™ database and the aggregate results will be viewable by other Oregon Pinot noir enthusiasts as they search for wines.

We will ask for an email address from the person submitting the results. This email address will not be used for any other purpose than providing us with a follow-up if we have questions. No participant contact information will be posted on the website.
